I tattooed Mac Miller

So, it all started last monday afternoon, when our shop manager Synøve Rex was asked if she knew a tattoo artist that was able to come to Mac Millers hotel room and tattoo him. I was lucky enough to just be there, so I said yes, and after some texting between managers and contacts, I packed my bag to go to his hotel at Tjuvholmen in Oslo. I had my coworker and best friend Kim come with me to help as an assistant, take photos and just be himself, funny…

I’ll be back, Iceland…

I came back from Iceland yesterday, and I must say, that was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time. I flew there wednesday morning last week, and on thursday we all went to the Blue Lagoon, a big bunch of tattoo artists, some of which I knew very well, and some that I became friends with over the weekend. The Blue Lagoon was totally amazing, I so want to  go back there, and I probably will next year! The Icelandic Tattoo Expo this weekend was so…

Sviiiden

Sorry for not posting anything since the Ink N Iron festival. Just been too busy, as always… I’m gonna try to keep you updated, but I can’t promise anything 😉   Now, Sweden, or as the swedes pronounce it – Sviiiden – my birth country, will be visited by me as early as tomorrow afternoon. I was born there, in a place called Täby, just outside of the capital city Stockholm, in 1980. First off I will head off to Stockholm, for the Stockholm Ink Bash this weekend (24-26/8), and…

Copenhagen Ink Fest 2012

Wow, I mean really, wow! That was one of the most amazing conventions I’ve ever been to. Last year was awesome, but this year they really outdid themselves. (photo: Electric Linda) Waiting for the bus to the airport. So ready to go, and we didn’t forget anything this time! Amazing! 🙂   (photo: Nina Red) Me and Nick Morte painted one of the art fusion paintings at the Pre-Party at Hard Rock Cafe, which were actioned off later at the convention. So much fun! 🙂   (photo: Nina Red) Our…

Oslo Tattoo Convention 2012

Ok, my first convention this year is over, the Oslo Tattoo Convention (OTC) 2012 was not perfect, but pretty ok, as always. The convention itself was poorly organized, smaller than last year, less public and no service like food or drinks for the artists what so ever! But there is something about the city itself, that makes me want to go back every year. It is my capital city, only 40 minutes from my shop, so it’s very conveniant. The afterparty is as always the plus side of the convention….

Up next: Oslo Tattoo Convention

So, to start off this traveling blog, I want to mention the first convention, the Oslo Tattoo Convention, which will be held on the last weekend of april. This year, we’ll have a double booth for the first time, and “Sketch” will be joining me there. This is his first time as a working artist at this particular convention, but I think he will do great! I am fully booked, but you are more than welcome to come by and say hallo, or ask me any questions while I’m there….

Introduction to my Tattoo Tour Blog

Hello 🙂 This is going to be my little public diary this year, when I’m traveling to many countries and cities, tattooing at conventions, seeing new places and maybe I get a chance to relax a bit here and there too. As you may know, I have traveled a lot all ready during my 12 years of tattooing, but this year is going to have quite the travel plan. I will sum up the confirmed conventions for 2012:   april 27-29 – – – Oslo Tattoo Convention – – –…

Berlin Tattoo Convention 2011

… was amazing. I have been trying to go to that convention for many years, and there has always been something stuck in my way, but this time I made it there. We had a lot of fun. I had a really good time with old friends, and I might have made some new ones too. I did a baby portrait in black n’ gray which I really loved doing. Then I made a colour leopard on a lower arm, and that one won 3rd place in “Best Realistic” I…
